Meet Mason Hunter, CPA
Mason is the principal of Hunter Green CPA. He is a licensed CPA in Illinois with an MBA from the University of Illinois and ten years of experience in personal and business taxes.
Before starting the firm, he managed the tax department of a publicly traded company in Chicago. He reported directly to the CFO and CAO, built taxable income projections used in board presentations and strategic planning, and oversaw the preparation of more than 200 tax returns across dozens of jurisdictions each year. That experience shaped how he approaches the work now, with precision and follow-through at every step.
He also spent time at a small local CPA firm working with small business clients. That year showed him a different reality. Business owners who were too busy running their companies to deal with the books. Tax strategies that could have saved real money but were never implemented because no one took the time to understand the situation.
Hunter Green CPA exists to bridge that gap. Mason works directly with medical business owners across the country, bringing the same level of care he applied to corporate tax work. The goal is to help clients build successful businesses, not just stay compliant.
